My Story

Hi! I'm LMFT Evie Mpras.

Welcome!

I'd like to share
WHYI do what I do
and HOW I can help you.

When parents find out that I specialize in healing couple and family relationships

after baby comes, they almost ALWAYS say:

Oh, I wish we had help like that!
It would have made things so much easier

I can't count how many times I have heard this, along with wistful and pained faces.

These experiences initially felt validating to my therapy work.
Yet over the years, it has become a rallying cry
that too many families go without relationship support
during this important phase of life!

I’ve wanted to share my wealth of knowledge in an ACCESSIBLE way
so Moms and families can experience
more joy than stress as they grow their family.

After the birth of my son a year ago, I knew it was time.

My second pregnancy, birth, and early months were

significantly more traumatic than my first.

  • I was hospitalized

  • had an emergency birth

  • our baby had an extended nicu stay

  • while having an older child at home who also needed her mom

BUT because

I, my marriage, and other family relationships had developed the skills

to navigate this phase of life

I had an emotionally easier and more peaceful experience

of motherhood and family life than the first time around!

I felt

less alone and more heard

I knew I could be

vulnerable and flawed,

and

still be loved

Things were hard, but I had support.

That's where I come in.

I'm here to help Moms Couples & Families in Early Parenthood
